i'm doing a report on elements Bromine happens to be one. i need help.i appreciate it thanks.

Br can have valencies of 1, 3 and 5.

It can have oxidation states from -1 to +5, with odd numbers only but including 0 (the element itself).

Br atoms, like all the halogens, have 7 electrons in their outer level (the valence shell).
