Hygiene doesn't really make sense. Do you mean cleanliness of the restaurant? Noone knows unless you work there. Nutrition, most likely Subway. Have you ever watched the documentary "Super Size Me"? It's about a guy who ate nothing but McDonalds for 30 days. It is pretty informative. Everything from McDonalds has sugar in it, except for the black coffee and the hashbrowns. Try making your food with fresh ingredients from the grocery store if you are concerned about nutritional value. You'd be way better off and probably spend less money in the long run. Plus, your arteries would thank you too. Remember, even the food from Subway has preservatives and additives.

Subway on both.
Firstly u can see what they are making you in subway and u know its all fresh. so they cant secretly spit in ur food, where as mcdonalds most of the time u cant see qwhat goes on and the amount of stories u hear...
nutrition, well a salt filled burger isnt exactly good for u. where as at subway fresh meats and salads.

Okay my sister works at McDonalds and i have been behind the counter it is very neat and tidy. Also McDonalds do have some good meals for nutrition and it isn't what is on the menu that's important it is what the person orders. There is healthy things on the menu but people don't pick it.

Subway is far better for nutrition, but even Subway isn't as healthy as something you can make for yourself.
I suggest watching Supersize Me. It does a good job of showing the hazards of eating fast food, particularly from McDonalds.

Subway appears more healthy now that they base the nutrition charts on half sandwiches.
