Oh yes I remember these. These were what I grew up watching. I remember coming home after school, turning on the TV and on Kids WB, there would be Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Pokemon, The original Batman (who I thought was the sexiest man ever, *giggles*). Ninja turtles was also a favorite. I used to play the game for Super Nintendo and one of the levels was where you had to surf in a sewer and when you hit something, one would say, "Ow my toe! Ow my toe!"
Pokemon, of course, was the **** back then. It just came out in America so every other little kid was obsessed and so was I. I named almost every animal I had after a Pokemon or character in the show, like Misty. "I wanna beee the very bessst, like no one ever waaas!!" (I remember the whole song!! XD)
Taking off the classic televisions shows are horrible. Things kids watch today are just adding to the violence and stupidity of life. Just the other day I was flipping through channels and saw 'The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.' It was purely disgusting and the most retarded thing I have ever seen. I mean, even the Powerpuff girls was so much better!
These were shows that I learned lessons from, to be kind and stuff, and now all the kids are learning is to pick their nose and laugh at the wrong moments over someone's brain coming out of their head. It's gross.
I think I talked too much, but it brings back my childhood days of running around in my bare feet saying, "Kawabunga, dude!!"
TAT Come back childhood, come back!!

^__^ Eyb-Eyb!

I remember all of those cartoons. They aren't THAT old. I believe Aladdin still shows on The Disney Channel during the day. Looney Toons still show on Cartoon Network, and you can buy many looney tune episodes on DVD. I was a FANATIC about the ORIGINAL TMNT....I had all the playsets and actions figures!!! Other shows that I used to watch and some that my sister used to watch (some are even older) that you don't see are He-Man, She-Ra, Smurfs, Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Shirt Tails, The Get-Along Gang, Heathcliff, Nickolodeon's "You Can't Do That On Television", KIDS Incorporated, the Wuzzles, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Punky Brewster, Reading Rainbow, Zoobilee Zoo, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, and all the old Hanna-Barbera cartoons (Richie Rich, Casper, Magilla Gorilla, Grape Ape, and Honk Kong Fooey to name a few....oh! and Pound Puppies. I'm sure I forgot some and I feel your pain. :-P

I understand completely what you mean, those used to be some of the greatest cartoons you could watch, those were the good old days. Now I can clearly say that the cartoons on TV are completely irrelevant, without understanding and down-right stupid. For example, at some of them I completely loose track and become confused at their sheer stupidity they inspire. For example, My gym partner's a monkey, or Foster's home of something... something... Imaginary friends, or Camp Lazlo. These things just have no sense, I get disgusted just watching them for a minute. People have lost the talent of making something good to watch. Now the only cartoons I watch are on the net, like on youtube or something else. There you can really see something worth seeing.

Looney Tunes was my era. And Smurfs, and the WWF wrestling cartoon. My Saturday mornings were made of that. Sitting on the floor in front of the TV eating cereal. When cartoons were over, I'd head outside to ride my bike. Ahh, the good ol' days.

Yes, I loved those old school cartoons. I especially liked The Snorks, The Jetsons, and The Gummi Bears. Go back a bit more and The Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake were my favs as well.
