To start with scallops and a lovely chili sauce (not too hot!) on a bed of rocket, then maybe, steak(if they eat meat) or a lovely Seabass if not with fresh vegetables and new potatoes! To follow, fresh berries with melted white chocolate, but the berries must be frozen first!!! DELICIOUS!!!!

Well, if you are going for romance, don't cook something you haven't tried to cook before (and know it is good) and don't cook anything complicated that can cause embarrassing moments (i.e. spareribs or crab legs). A nice pasta with a lovely sauce is an easy winner (or even a lasagne). It's romantic (think Lady and the Tramp) and you can pair it with a nice salad and bottle of red wine and you have an easy to prepare and very romantic setting. If that's too cliche for you, then maybe try something exotic, but practice first on friends and family and get some honest reviews!!!

Here's an easy one.

you need:
Pork chops
Frank's Red Hot
butter
Bread crumbs
Sour cream or Ranch Dressing

Put bread crumbs in Ziploc bag

Melt butter mix with Frank's. (You'll want to mix enough to cover the chops.) Just a little butter to thicken the sauce.
You can't really screw it up

Dip chop in sauce

Put chop in bread crumb bag

Shake

Grill on MedLow heat until chop is cooked through (solid to the touch, or go ahead and cut it open and make sure it's not pick)

top with a dollop of Sour cream or a drizzle of Ranch.

mmmm, buffalo pork chops. Add some potatoes and green beans (my fav) and you'll win him over in no time.

SAFFRON ORZO WITH ASPARAGUS AND PROSCIUTO
Yield: 6 servings

4 Tablespoons butter (1 /2 stick)
2 ounces thinly sliced prosciuto, cut into thin strips
1 1 /4 Cups Orzo (about 8 ounces)
3 Cups low-salt chicken broth
1 /2 teaspoon (loosely packed) saffron threads, crushed
1 pound slender asparagus, trimmed, cut into 1 /2" pieces
1 /4 Cup grated Parmesan Cheese
Parmesan Cheese Shavings, Optional

1. Melt 2 Tablespoons butter in a large, non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add prosciuto and saute until almost crisp, about 3 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to paper towels to drain.

2. Melt 2 Tablespoons in the same skillet over high heat. Add Orzo; stir 1 minute. Add broth and saffron; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until orzo begins to soften, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes. Add asparagus; cover and simmer until tender, about 5 minutes. Uncover and simmer until almost all of the liquid is absorbed, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.

3. Mix in prosciuto and 1 /4 cup of the grated cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to a large bowl. Garnish with the Parmesan shavings.

Seafood. For me, if they don't like seafood we're not gonna be together long. Oysters are and aphrodisiac and a nice fish dish can be very romantic and not to heavy, so when you’re done you don’t feel like a stuffed pig. And there is like 17million ways to cook fish, so that even people who say they don’t like fish will like it. Mexican is easy but messy and cheap. Italian is too simple and common. A nice steak dinner with a veggie and potato/rice is always a good choice so long as you know how they like their meat (haha). And a nice fruity sweet desert like strawberry shortcake or something like that.

I would cook linguini Aldenté with a delectible Shrimp Scampi with garlic butter sauce! Not a frozen dinner either!

And for dessert, a delectible Taramisu cake dusted with cocoa and drizzled in a rich chocolate sauce!

I have several genuine Italian recipes to get to a man's heart (and stomach).
My favorite are: Melanzane alla Parmigiana (layers of aubergines with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and tomato sauce, with several herbs); Salti in bocca (white meat scallops rolled in flour, wrapped around ham and shallow fried with sage and white wine); Salame al cioccolato (a dessert made of bits of biscuits and nuts bound together with mascarpone, melted chocolate and brandy).
Plus various type of Pasta and Focaccia.
