It sounds like you're really in tune with your body and your cycle. Good for you!
A double box of pregnancy tests costs under $15 at WalMart. Get the double set so you can take the first test right away, then take the second one the next morning to double check your results.
Pregnancy hormones are at their highest levels first thing in the morning because your urine is more concentrated. While today's tests are very sensitive to the hormones, taking a second test first thing in the morning should confirm what your earlier test said.
If you're PG, your cervix will be thickening, but if it's really early you wouldn't be able to tell. Only you can tell the difference in your discharge if EWCM looks different. If you're monitoring yourself a lot, you know that it looks different at different parts of your cycle.
I freaked out one night thinking I was PG. I cried and worried about it. (This was back when you could ONLY take the test first thing in the morning.) I didn't sleep at all that night. When I went to the bathroom to take the test the next morning, my period had started. Sometimes your body is just a little different. The calendar and your cycle may not always coincide because your body is attuned to its own clock.
Good luck.

When I got pregnant, it felt like I was going to have my regular cycle. I had the ewcm and cramping (mild), and then I had tender breasts (not sore, just a little achy, nothing different than normal). I just never bled. After a few days of mild cramping and no bleeding, I took a test and sure enough there was a faint line.
If you have a CVS pharmacy around you, their store brand tests are cheap and I have found them to be more sensitive than even the EPT and first response.
GOOD LUCK and best wishes!

How do you know for sure that you ovulated on the 15 or 16th? Are you charting your basal temperatures? Egg-white cervical mucus is usually a sign of pending ovulation. It is not usually possible to ovulate at two different times in your cycle.
Even those of us with fairly regular cycles can slightly longer ones from time to time, especially if there have been any stressful occurrences. I'd give it another week unless you start feeling any other pregnancy symptoms besides a missed period.
