A tea made from the following herbs will take care of migraines and NOT leave you feeling "drugged". Basil, Lavender leaves and flowers, Nettle and mugwort. Bring water to a boil, pour over 1 tsp each of the herbs and let steep 15 to 20 minutes, strain and drink 1/2 cup every 2 to 3 hours until Migraine has ended. Also, eliminate sources of bright light and noise and vibration as much as possible. Put a cold compress over the forehead and if you can, soak the compress in cold peppermint tea.

Immetrex does not get me high, and is effective. Midrin is cheaper, less effective, and only gives a very subtle high.
