We've been aborting 1.2 million babies a year in this country since 1973. That's quite a drain on citizens. Now we need bodies to pay the Social Security taxes for the baby boom generation, they start retiring. We don't have enough bodies to do it. And, of course, Washington is not going to reform entitlements. Too big a risk. So just get these bodies in. The dirty little secret is that they're going to be a net drain on Social Security because while they may be contributing Social Security taxes, to help defray some of the Social Security of other baby boomers they're going to have to also receive their own transfer payments because they're not going to have access to health care, not going to have enough money for kids to go to school, this sort of thing. It's easier to import the bodies here than to take on the serious task of reforming these problems, which, by the way, is not going to be solved by these people coming in. If it even works, it's a temporary fix.
But the second reason -- it's very close. The Democrats, by the same token, don't discount the fact that this to them is a golden opportunity to expand the welfare system. the point is that what is at stake here is the Democrats see a golden opportunity to create a whole new subculture of dependents that are going to vote for them forever. The Democrats, the liberals in this country resent conservatism and its success and its power, they want to take on the traditions and institutions that have made this country great, tear it down and rebuild the country in the liberals' own image, which is a giant governor government, whole lots of victims, people dependent, can't get by on their own. That's nirvana for liberals, and that's part and parcel of this whole thing.

You certainly know how to stretch logic. Your thesis is not based on any fact, just emotion and conjecture. Nice try, though.

You're right that the liberal sacred cow, Social Security, does need more young worker to remain solvent going forward, but liberalism, as a philosophy is not particularly dependent upon an expanding population. The large proportion of minorities among illegals could reasonably be expected to favor the democratic party if they become citizens - based on historic trends, anyway. (Then again, based on historic trends, a republican in the 1940s would have predicted most blacks to be republicans, today).
The economic growth trumpeted by conservatives, though, is, in a very mature economy like our own, somewhat dependent on increasing population (since gains in efficieny eventually be come hard to come by), at least in theory. And, the business interests favored by conservatives certainly benefit from cheap, illegal, labor.
So both parties have every reason to favor illegal immigration.

Don't put all the blame on one party. They share equally in this mess. Big money conservatives like the cheap labor for their factories, yard work, and whatever else they can get away with. One of the biggest problems with this country is the blame game. Instead, everyone should concentrate on real solutions. But that will never happen unless we clean house at the capital. That means both parties.

If and whilst we want workers a million/2 of the worldwide may be prepared to pay again and pay to do the roles that individuals won't do no longer simply by fact we are lazy yet simply by fact for stable or undesirable we are in a position to no longer shield your existence kinds with slave hard paintings. Your posting is the two genuine or frightening as hell what's make me so offended is the way some excuse the habit of the illigals that only want a extra clever existence whilst they thumb their noses at us. Robbing a financial employer might provide my family a extra clever existence, yet once I have been given caught my myself and my family might pay a heavy fee. yet all we'd have loved to do is make a extra clever existence.

That's right!! we need our immigrants, who else will mow our lawns and trim animals into our hedges? We need them to be nannies and sell cocaine and pot. We need them to work the flea markets so we can buy cheap clothes with name brand labels, And who could live without a their beautiful poetry and woven rugs? We need Mexicans in this country... They are compact, you can fit at least 15 in a car and even more in a 1 bedroom house. They are always wiling and ready to jump in the back of a pick-up to spend 12 hours on a roof for only $50.00 for the entire 12 hours... And we can't forget about all the Casa's they are remodeling... Oh how beautiful they all look like they are made of Mud and have bars on the windows with beautiful rose bushes all over the yard... And they top it off with a little Chiuhuaha running around the yard... and 4 little rug rats still in diapers ages 1,2,3 and 4... What would we do without them????? I wonder.

You think Liberals want people dependent? Then why have the conservatives been helping them by increasing the poverty level in this country, and further increasing the gap between the middle and upper classes?
The Conservatives' dirty secret is that they are the ones who want people poor and uneducated. After all the billionaires need maids, cooks, and gardeners.

In the fields of yahoo answers, radical people run amok, making up facts as they see them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if they are idiotic. However, when you post a question you know is stupid just to get a rise out of the other side you are just making an ignorant @ss of yourself and you are getting very boring. Both sides resent each other, it is not one-sided. And it is radical thinking like yours destroying this country, not the two parties.

http://www.vdare.com/fulford/swept_away.htm#solution
The Solution
After the uprising of the 17th June
The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?

Actually, corporate profit margins are dependent upon cheap labor. What better way to keep wages low, than to expand the labor pool?
The cost of labor goes down, and profits go up.

Wrong. The big corporations want cheap labor. That's why the Bush Adm. won't do anything decisive to stop the illegals from crossing our borders. He even wants a highway from Mexico to Canada. The meat packers, poultry raisers, big farm combines, garment manufacturers, etc. want laborers they can pay less than minimum wage.
