My period is going on for almost 2 weeks now. I am 38 years, my period comes every 30-35 days. This is the first time I am experiencing this. I have gained weight for the past few years. Before my period this month, I did some light exercise with weights. I know that will throw off my cycle, should I be alarmed? I don't have any cramps at all. Please tell me what to do, it seems it's not slowing down at all. I don't take contraceptive pills, but I am taking supplements to balance my hormones. I need serious answers only, I can't go to the doctor, I have a high deductible on my insurance. Thanks. Any doctors out there? Please help.

The hormone treatment that you are taking could very well be what is causing this extended bleeding and you shouldn't worry to much about it...
If i knew the supplement you were taking for your hormone problem i would be able to better help you out but since i do not know what you are taking i can't really say much....
If your really worried they do have clinics out there that go by a sliding scale which i'm sure you could find somewhere in your area, i can understand about the whole insurance thing, i myself have a very high deductible and it gets very expensive.

You could call a nurse line or a hospital to speak to a nurse or doctor as well, though they probably wouldn't be able to give you a good answer..

You say your in your late 30's, well having an irregular cycle is not uncommon in woman of your age.
I am 17 years younger than you and i experience an irregular cycle every once in a while, every woman does..
I would say if your bleeding doesn't stop within a couple days then you should go visit a doctor to be on the safe side and make sure everything is fine..
I hope i helped!

You should be able to go to your local health dept. Pls do this. You may have endometriosis. Light exercise should not have caused this. Being as this is your first time doing this, you need to be concerned, and find out what is causing it. A doctor online could only give you suggestions, whereas you need a diagnosis. Call your health dept and find out your options. You may need a D&C.
