The ones that make you pay to "join" aren't jobs, they're scams. They make their money from getting the fees from people. You'll probably get a number of responses trying to get you into the responder's multilevel marketing scheme so THEY can make money off YOU. For many of the "jobs" shown online, you would have to find buyers for products to make money.

There are several people every day asking the same question here. There ARE viable work-at-home jobs, but they take time - you can do them while kids are sleeping, or in school, or someone else is watching them, but not while you're also with them.

One exception is babysitting for other people's kids - you can do that at home, while you're with your kids.

Being a stay-at-home mom is a good thing, but you probably have to make a choice between that and having the extra money that comes from a job.

If you had a job before you started staying home that could easily be done at home, you might be able to work with your former employer to still do some of that work, but at home. I do know three people currently working at home - two moms of preschoolers, and one who started working at home to care for an ill parent. One has a PR company, one does web design (both of these are moms, and work part-time) and the third does editing of legal paperwork.

Look over your past experiences--what skills did it take you to complete the job? Where you require to contact future clients, do phone research, request written materials, speak a foreign language, call places to compare their company against another company in the same field?

I read a good book many, many years ago, and it was called 'How to find yourself and a new job'. It is probably out of print now, but basically it had different test for you to take to see what job was best suited for your personality. Mine was sales, public relations, and money making/saving. I started my own company doing catalog sales, and I went to the varies companies and offer them employees incentive product from my catalogs. It was a win, win situation, they were happy, their employee were happy, and I made money doing something that was natural for me.

A very easy way to make money online is by joining GPT sites. GPT sites mean "get paid to" do surveys, offers, and other things. These are also known as "paid to signup" sites. I make about $200 a month from the sites I have joined, each. So if you join a few, it may be helpful to you. Here are my favorites:

www.knightsfortune.com
www.treasuretrooper.com/237872

you can also do a search on "gpt site", and you will come up with a lot of different ones.
Good luck to you!

This you don't have to pay for.

I have found some great on line opportunities. It took a lot of research to find good sites and I made well over $2,000 last month. Please see my profile for more details and proof that these sites pay. All these sites are free to join too. Hope this helps.
