In radians, 270 deg = 3pi/2.
tan 3pi/2 is undefined, for in passing from 3rd to 4th quadrant the tangent flips from +infinity to -infinity.

tan 270 deg.=-cot 90 deg since only cos is positive in the fourth quadrant.

tan = sin/cos

At 270 degrees, your cosine is 0.
You can't divide by zero.
Hence, tan 270 is undefined.

As someone already noted, 270 degrees is 3pi/2 in radians, but the tangent of this angle is still undefined no matter how you look at it.
