This just started and the part seems to be located behind the blower moter,it clicks for about a minute when you turn the key on or off,can anyone tell me what it is and the easiest way to reach it?

That's your accessory relays energizing, & it's normal.

I'm not really sure what you are talking about here, but the easiest way to get into see what is wrong is to take the glove box out. These are really easy to get out as either they have only 4 screws in them or are held in by a tether that you disconnect from the side and then it falls out. Either way you will have access to a bunch of relays behind and above the blower motor. Good luck.

most likely possibility is the actuator door motor ,the gear is getting stripped out and that causes the nooise you hear. Just got through doing it on my '93..... there is a little motor attached to the evaporator case when you turn the key on and touch it , you will feel the vibration(noise) you can see the motor but getting to the bolts can be frastrating...... hope that helps

it is the flap for hot to cold it is the relay for it that went bad you have to remove the glove box have someone turn the key on and off so that you can listen for its location
