How can we "secure the borders of Iraq" when we can't secure our own?

I don't think either side has claim to the first two items on your list...they are, though for the most part insignificant. People and groups have been "talking" about what to do in the region since long before I was born.

I like the two people at the top who are obviously Rush listeners....no liberal has proposed leaving immediately...the Congress proposed a timetable for withdrawal of a year from now. Ignorance run amuck.

I thought the liberal aproach to the war was not to have it, and, failing that, to withdraw forthwith?

Anyway, heaven forbid some conservative somewhere try a different strategy when a past strategy hasn't worked - that could be indicative of 'thinking' something liberal dogma states conservatives can't do!

I think that this war was poorly managed. That is not a liberal or conservative approach.

That's MY approach.

It's all good as long as they don't take on the number one liberal approach... SURRENDER!!

BTW Steve C, you can keep your "observations" to yourself. I can't STAND Rush Limbaugh, and ANY timetable that is announced to the public is a SURRENDER in my book. All the enemy has to do once the announcement is made is just wait us out and claim victory.

umm, isn't the liberal approach to leave immediately and pay reparations? i've yet to hear any liberal say anything close to what you wrote. run and hide, cut and run, however you want to put it....that's their approach
