we have obviously never met, because i dont let anyone tell me how to act.... but i do agree with you. everyone is fake b/c they want to be "cool" and "hip" so they follow the images that hollywood portrays....

because they dont like/cant accept and are uncomfortable being themselves.they think of themselves as uninteresting which in my opinion is very wrong.they give too much attention to what other people think and in the process restrict themselves from what they really want and shut their eyes to who they really are and what qualities and unique talents everyone is entitled to possess.people should live free without pretensions and not deprive themselves of the wonderful things life can offer

yes me. i hate it too when people don't act like themselves. it's a case of low self esteem. they are not confident in who they really are so they try to project an image of who they think people will like. They can't keep that up forever, they are the one's who will have problems in their lives

I don't know... i was always taught to be myself and i've stayed true to that. i have noticed, however, especially in hollywood, that people seem to be whoever the norm wants them to be. it's really very sad to me. i am just...me! and i'm damn proud of it!

I agree with you! I don't have many friends due to that reason, but I am myself, and love it! Maybe that is another reason I don't have friends. LOL
