I mean since I have been on here I feel sorry for some young people that post pregnancy questions on here. Then I shutter at some of the questions thinking to myself that this is ridiculous that some of these people lack the education needed to even have sex. I really wish more parents would educate these kids and maybe we would not have such a problem with teen pregnancy!!!! I don't believe in abortion but I do believe that maybe with some much needed education we would see fewer pregnancies. Anyone else agree? What are your views? Just curious......

Actually teen pregnancies have consistantly dropped since the early 90's and the difference between then and now is quite drastic. It does vary between ages/races as well. However I don't believe it has much to do with education... BC is just being handed out like candy these days. I agree... I worry about kids lack of education as well. Half of them can't even SPELL pregnancy correctly!

If sex and the body wasn't treated as evil and taboo, more young people could comfortably ask the questions and get answers to the most important questions. Parents should be more open and "real" about the body. Quit giving body parts cute little names because you are afraid of their real names.
Think about it...What does a kid do when they are told "No, don't do that"? They head straight for it because of curiosity. Well, the problem is that "curiosity" can end up being an unplanned baby.

After reading questions for the last two days, I am scared to death. On the plus side, I know that my daughter will succeed in life, as she will have very little competition as far as getting into college, finding a great job, etc.

It does scare me that so many people who can't even spell "pregnant" are breeding. But I wouldn't worry...from the posters of some of the scarier questions ("Can I get pregnant from masturbating alone while talking to my boyfriend on the phone?") you're hardly likely to see future careers in law and politics.

You should have to pass a test before you are allowed to have children.
