Capital Hill is a very gay-friendly area and is full of a lot of shops, as well as many restaurants, bars, and dance clubs. A late-20's male can visit all the bars and clubs, check out a lot of places to shop on Broadway (of Sir Mixalot's "My Posse's on Broadway) or head downtown, which is just a short walk or bus ride. From Safeco Field, it's about 2 miles away. You definitely don't Need a car to get around as this area is well served by Metro (bus transit) and parking is a real bear so it's probably best not to have a car unless you have reserved parking or don't mind searching.

Capitol Hill is generally the LBTG section of Seattle. There are shops and churches that cater to all types of people there, but it is a bit pricey there.
If you have the time, you can walk to Safeco Field from there. If you want to get there quicker, you may want a car, but parking can be a headache. You may want to take the bus or a taxi instead.

I exceptionally advise for you decrease Queen Anne. that's purely some blocks from the main significant downtown district (pike place industry, and so on.), an elementary bike trip everywhere, significant buses come and bypass as that is acceptable on Mercer that's a significant Seattle highway, and Queen Anne is living house to 3 million little theaters (Intimans, on the boards, The Repertory Theater, youngster's Theater), the ballet, the Opera, and Teatro Zinzani! an incredible style of great shops, boutiques, eating places and nightlife, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is not SO loopy and loud which you're scared to stroll living house at night. Cap Hill gets nuts -- an incredible style of drug bargains (Which, i comprehend, you will discover everywhere, yet i see extra in Cap Hill than the different community, and it style of feels to be the place an incredible style of crime happens), and that is dirtier. don't get me incorrect, i like Capitol Hill -- Seattle does no longer be the comparable without it, and that is exciting to have a loopy night on the hill each now and lower back, yet for someplace i want to call "living house," i might somewhat decide for Queen Anne.
