Hotel Sofitel on Arroyo in downtown BA. Spent five nights there, it was spectacular.
Located just of Cinco de Julio, the BA main drag and widest boulevard in the world, Sofitel is in a quiet French Quarter of sorts where antique stores line a tree shaded side street. Yet, it is but a five minute walk to busy Avenida Forida, the Redeo Drive of Buenos Aires, where you'll find great shoppes, boutiques, malls, and street performers (like tango dancers).
The rooms come with complete breakfasts each AM when you can order or go through their sumptuous buffet line. And the tea room is wonderful for afternoon high tea like the English do...including cucumber sandwiches and eclairs, yum. And I'd recommend their Cerveza Negra, a micro brew that is dark and rich with a heavy roasted hops flavor.
Despite being a large hotel full of residents, Sofitel was absolutely quiet throughout. The room we stayed in was dark in the AM and absolutely quiet; so we could sleep in when we wanted. The lobby is grand and they have full concierge service to help you arrange tours, shows, restaurant reservations, and such. And if you want to waste your time doing something you can always do in the States, rather than see the sights of BA, you can swim in their indoor lap pool.
All in all, the Hotel Sofitel was more than worth the US $151 per night spent for the room and all the amenities.

Buenos Aires is an amazing town; it's an astonishing town that appears a bit like Europe, but with an edgy Latin American pose and if you wish to visit this town then take a look with hotelbye . El Puerto Madero is really a place well visited. It served as the key dock of Buenos Aires during the late 19th century but know is converted into structures that could be used as residences, restaurants, stores and different corporations and to offer this project a little style, all roads in the section were called after women. Strolling through the Puerto Madero is a great way to spend a pleasing afternoon the same as visiting El Obelisco. El Obelisco was integrated 1936 to commemorate the 400th wedding of the city founding and now's a must-see place from Buenos Aires.

decrease priced is relative. lodge Bel-Air on Arenales in Recoleta is decrease priced for me, approximately US$80-ninety in keeping with night. each lodge in Argentina is clean, regardless of point. There are additionally many hostels interior the San Telmo district. i think of the Milhouse or Millhouse is nicely-known with the extra youthful crowd and porbably decrease than $20 in keeping with night. lodge Alvear on Avenida Alvear is amazingly clean, as nicely.

Plenty of places in the "Recoleta" area!
Excellent neighbourhood, small boutique hotels (no chain) and plenty to walk and shop and dine!
