I think the difference is that some don't want us to just up and leave. Others want us to leave, but to set the ground-work, first.

That's why it's called, "Cut, and Run". Because it doesn't involve anything but leaving as quickly as possible with as few further entanglements as possible.

Sometimes, you do have to cut and run, such as a fireman in the middle of fire that gets too bad. It just isn't worth the possible loss of life.

Patriotic Americans on both sides just have different ideas of what is "too much".

Seditious Americans don't care. They just want to hurt the President (they did the same to Former President Clinton), any way they can. They also want to hurt the Republican party, but that, in itself, is not seditious. It's just that they (and some Republicans) see the other side of the aisle as "the enemy".

I'm a democrat, second, but a patriot and U.S. citizen, FIRST. I see brothers whom I disagree with on the other side of the aisle. In this particular issue, I agree with them.

Mitch McConnell and Bill Sessions were in the media last week saying that after General Petraeus' report in September, they both expected the country to change course in Iraq, and they expected the President to lead the change.

I still haven't received an answer as to how that differs from the "unacceptable deadlines for failure" the Republicans were deriding just a few weeks ago.
Back then, the cry was that if the Democrats kept up pressure for withdrawal, all Al-Qaeda had to do was to continue launching a few more last-ditch attacks, and America would lose its stomach for the fight. Conversely, the new Republican rumblings are simply the mirror image of their complaints of last month: now all Al-Qaeda and the Iraqi militias have to do is lay low until September, when Republicans will lead the heroic withdrawal of US forces.

I think it's called situational ethics, or moral relativism.

It is also called hypocrisy.

That is another silly and childish expression that Republicans use, I very much dislike that phrase any of their childish phrases. They are so childish and really silly men and woman. They always dreaming those cute phrase that makes people vote Democrat, who wants a child to make decisions for them They are a bunch rum dums , so very silly. Those old geezer's need to grow up , before they die because they are all so sickly, paleface humans. Where are the men in Republicans party, name me one in the Congress or Senate.Take a Look a McConnell, WHEW
