I know see the falls during the day and at night I am looking for personal experiences!!!!

not too far from the falls (if driving) is African Lion Safari - really cool drive-thru zoo basically. Your kids will Love it! Monkeys, giraffes & lions coming right up to the car!

To be honest, outside of seeing the falls there isn't much to do. You can take a tour of the area, or behind the falls. Take a balloon ride or visit a winery.

Just be sure to ride the "Maid of the Mist" boat to see the falls. It's the only have to do thing there.

Is it the Canadian side or the US side of the Falls?
If Canadian, my girlfriend stayed at this place with her kids and had a blast:

Plenty of things for the kids to do there including and indoor waterpark. There's also an indoor bird aviary nearby the Falls called Bird Kingdom Niagara Falls.

take the fairy to the falls. a fairy will take you close the bottom of the falls and you'll get sprayed by the water the kids will love it and remember it for the rest of their lives. give them an option of using an umbrella or not let them experience it all. there are also a coupld of resturants surrounding the falls you should dine at.
