It's the sticky residue that's left over from a price tag that was on the glass. What's a good way to get it completely off and not leave an oily residue?

I use a product called Dissolve-It. You can get it at WalMart in the laundry aisle. It is good for many things. I also use it to clean my kitchen cabinets. It dissolves the grease left from cooking and has a citrus scent. I believe it is an organic product, but unfortunately it leaves an oily residue. It works better than rubbing alcohol, but you could follow up with alcohol to remove the oil. I believe GooGone is petroleum based and not very good for the environment.

Use Goo Gone, then clean the area with Windex to make it squeaky clean and not oily.
