Explain to your dad why you love cheerleading so much. Guy cheerleaders are great! They are a fundamental part of the team, I mean, someone has to do it right? If he still doesn't understand, is talking to your mom about it a possibility?
I don't suggest going behind his back, or doing it anyways. It could cause a lot of anger between you two, and a lot of secrecy, also.
Let him know that you don't want to go behind his back, or disrespect his wishes, you just want him to try and understand, and you want him to let you be happy.

Just cheer and make ur dad come to ur game and let him see for himself how good u are and how much fun u have doing it. If u don't believe me just watch the movie "raise your voice"

if you wanna cheer and thats what you wanna do then do it... isnt it your life, not your fathers??? but prepare to be made fun of bcuz you are a guy cheerin and lots of people think thats gay...
