Because this is a purely market driven, unbiased, unvarnished poll as to what people actually care about. Given complete freedom of choice, people chose conservative voices over those in the ilk of NPR or Air America. You can't give away what liberals offer, few want to listen to their hate filled diatribes. The question acknowledges that audiences find a conservative viewpoint more appealing on the radio, but with cable tv, liberal stations like CNN, and MSLSD also fair poorly against less biased sources like FOX.

Conservative radio is more advertiser friendly. You would never see a Conservative host being critical of how a business is run or how the executives are knowingly polluting, marketing unsafe products, having their goods made by children in third world sweat shops, or committing fraud on the taxpayers by charging for goods that are inflated, are defective, or never delivered.
Big business can not depend that a Liberal host won't bring this up. They might care more that people really know what is going on than if the advertising money from that company continues.

Because -
1. It's an alternative to the politically correct-set controlled video & print medias. Television, cable, & magazines wouldn't print the ideas & opinions of those not in support of "liberal" media.
2. Radio is cheaper than video & print media while still reaching millions. Advertising rates for radio are much less & require less to produce than it does for visual media.
BTW, I know I've mis-spelled some words but the spell checker hasn't caught them. Is this happening to anyone else?

Conservative talk radio is simply more popular. For whatever reason, millions more people listen to conservative talk radio than liberal talk radio.

Because radio personnel know that Republicans don't exercise and are likely sitting on their heavy behinds, waiting to be entertained/told what to do by Tv and Radio.

A few reasons...conservatives will actually fork over their hard earned cash to keep it going....liberals tend to listen to music or other pablum sorts of entertainment rather than listen to debates/reports/informational media....conservatives, overall, have a higher level of education than liberals.

It was started as an alternative to the liberally dominated medium of T.V. and print and proved to be so successful, that they realized their was a demand and are just providing the supply.
