On a scale of one to ten, he is a minus 18. I think he is the worst ever. I think impeachment is necessary for both Bush and Cheney.

We've had some pretty poor presidents, both republican and democrat. I'm 51 years old. I voted for Bush Sr, but often vote Democrat. I think Bush Jr is the worst president I've seen, including Nixon and Carter. Many reasons - they've been cited all over the place.
As for impeachment, Bill Clinton was an egomaniac for getting impeached. He should never have let this thing go to a grand jury; I blame he, and gore for the ascendancy of W.
*IF* real evidence, more than the "downing street memo" is found that proves W led the country to war under false pretenses - that he knew there were no WMD's, that he trumped up charges; then I believe that would be an impeachable offense.

They have nothing better to talk about. And when pressed for proof they come up empty. Constantly. Usually they'll start with" He's spending us into oblivion" neglecting to mention the 2010 TRILLION dollar military budget that includes the 2 wars Bush forgot to include in his budget and also left behind along with the other bills. Next they'll bring up taxes forgetting to mention the 2010 TRILLION dollar military budget that includes the 2 wars Bush forgot to include in his budget and also left behind along with the other bills. Third he should cut taxes neglecting to mention we have a huge deficit that includes current and past spending. That must be paid. Eventually. Republican economic and tax policy in action: Take a low interest credit card with a $300 balance. Instead of paying it off a Republican with $300 will pay $10. Even though they know the $10 won't even cover the interest charged and it's below the minimum payment. They figure the $290 can be used for something else. Meanwhile they will continue to charge. So the interest rate goes up, more late fees accrue as new purchases are added. Soon that same card has a $2000 balance and the interest is 35%. At that point the Republican plan is to cut the $10 payment in half. President Obama also gave a speech on the importance of education and they kept their kids home. Let's be honest if the guy snapped his fingers and made everything great they wouldn't like him. Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jesus Christ, John F Kennedy and Robert F Kennedy among others can tell you all about it.

He hasn't committed a high crime or misdemeanor so impeachment isn't going to happen. Andrew Johnson was probably the worst president ever. William Henry Harrison probably doesn't count. LBJ was pretty darn bad too. Carter would also be in the bottom five. I'd put Bush somewhere in middle really, above his father in fact.

Being a bad president isn't grounds for impeachment. If it were then virtually every president in the past 200 years would have, at some point, had someone try to impeach them.

Here's what Al Gore thinks:
"With a year and a half to go in his term and with no consensus in the nation as a whole to support such a proposition, any realistic analysis of that as a policy option would lead one to question the allocation of time and resources," Gore said during an interview with PBS.
When asked if impeaching Bush would be a good use of time, Gore replied, "I don't think it is. I don't think it would be successful."
He's right, I think.

What laws has he broken to be impeached? He is not the worst president, look at Carter who brought us major inflation 21% interest, gas lines and Iran hostage crisis. Kennedy, he was assasinated, but if you look at all articles before that sad event, he was killing the US, got us into Vietnam, Cuba.
Every president is judged the worse by someone.

Without a doubt the worst President in history.
1.) Breaks the law (wire tapping, email records, torture etc.)
2.) President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution.
3.) Lied to the American people
Bush and his oligarchic companions sabotaged American democracy so they could pillage taxpayer resources.
Bush and his cabal of henchmen lied to the American people about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and they continue to obfuscate the truth while their companies cash in, Iraqis suffer and American soldiers die.
Bush is bad for business and the economy. He is only interested in enriching himself and his friends.
Bush is bad for the future. He is compromising the prosperity of tomorrow's America by shortchanging today's children.
Bush is bad for the environment.
The Bush Administration has manipulated the media to the point of undermining the Constitutional guarantees of a Free Press.
Bush has tried to undermine the United Nations, a democratic institution created in large measure by Presidents Eisenhower and Truman. Without even understanding what the UN does, Bush has called it "irrelevant" when it fails to fall in line with his dictates.
Bush is inarticulate and projects a stereotype abroad of Americans being ignorant and myopic.
Bush torpedoes global agreements on everything from racism and global warming to biological weapons and land mines, and then expects the world to line up behind him.
Bush took positive patriotism and global support in the wake of 9/11 and forced it behind his own narrow self-interest in Iraq. He hijacked 9/11 for his own benefit.
Bush stands against everything America stands for
Carter may not have been one of the better Presidents but he created a lasting peace which survives today between Israel and Egypt. Is a honest man and a peacemaker
What did GOD say about the peacemakers ?

No, he has not broken any laws, or done anything to be impeached. Congress sent us to war, not Bush. Congress passed any laws Bush is using to fight terrorists.
I think he has done a fair job. He has taken us from a democrat recession to a booming economy while trying to deal with multiple major complex problems. I have to give them some credit, even though I haven't agreed with everything he has done.
