The Italian version of Juliette is "Giulietta." I think this is a pretty name, but don't be surprised if most people mispronounce it.

It might be one of those changes that could cause bad nick names, because it kind of looks like the way the razor, Gillette, is spelled. Juliette is a beautiful name though. Have fun with finding the perfect name!

Interesting, but it changes the pronounciation for me.
I would say it in a French accent, Gwie-let, which I like but I think it would be said Goolie-et in US/UK which I dont like at all. You cant try and pronounce it the same as Juliette, cos the G gives a completely different sound

I think Juliette is very pretty, but spelling it with a G is kinda weird...people would get confused..

people will forever mispronounce your kid's name because that will think the G is a hard G sound. I wouldn't wish that aggravation on a kid growing up. Juliette is a lovely name... don't mess it up.

with a G it reminds me of shaving cream b/c of Gillette but Juliette is a beautiful name.

i like juliette better case sound better and easiler to remember and spell it but guliette doesnt even sound well . so i wil vote for the firsto ne instead .

It looks like Gully-ette - I imagine most people would pronounce it that way. Use Juliette, it's pretty as it is. :-)

I have seen Guilia but not Guliette.....sorry
Yuliette is even better and that is still weird.
