That's adorable and don't listen to someone if the Payton is a boy's name, b/c my neice's name is Payton Adora, and a lot of people tried to talk her out of it, but all of her friends say that they think her name is really cool, and it's not too common either, but it's not off the wall like Daisy Dot or Apple, but remember that it's your decision, so if you are happy with it go for it.

payton layne sounds pretty. I know a boy named Payton tough so if you want the girl to have a name that says she's a girl I would name her something more definitively girl. If it's no big deal to you, then go for it.

Its cute I love the name Payton for middle names you could also try Leann or Lynn but Layne doesnt sound to good. Good Luck!

I think Payton is a very cute unisex name. I like it better for a boy, but I think thats because it makes me think of the football player Peyton Manning! Anyway Layne is also cute, I like the unusual names parents choose for their children..my hubby hates "uncommon" names so I have to stick with names he knows lol.

I like Payton, and Layne is ok for a middle name, but I don't really like them together.

Love it . We named our youngest Jenna Layne, have always liked Layne spelled like That. To me it is unique

We have a little girl at church whose name is Payton-I think it is creative and cute. I think that Layne for middle name if it sounds like laynie it is adorable. I like it!
