You can feed once or twice a day. Whichever is easier for you. But if you feed it twice a day make sure you cut back the morning feeding in half. Also make sure you only feed enough where there is no food left in the tank in 2-3 minutes. A Betta's stomach is only as big as it's eye.

you dont have to feed the fish everyday, I have owned 6 in my life. Just drop a few (3 or 4 is good) fish pellets in the water every 2-3 days. The fish is pretty good at not eatting if it is not hungry. Just keep the water clean and keep only one fish is a fish bowl at a time, beta fish will fight each other to the death. But don't feed the fish everyday, this will not only cloud up the water, but it will hurt the fish's health. Good luck with the fish and have fun.

Once about 8 grains of betta food. If you are feeding frozen or flake make sure you do not over feed. It's really easy to do.

If you have you betta in a bowl and not a regular fish tank with a filter you will need to do weekly water changes. Nothing to clean the water means all the excess fecal matter and food will be sitting in the water. And swimming in a toliet can't be fun!!

Once a day. Maybe even every other day. If you feed it to much, it's waste level will go up, the ammonia level will go up, and then it's stress level could go up causing ich and other diseases leading to death. Don't feed them too much in that once a day pinch, they might eat too much. Five minute rule. How much they eat in five minutes.

Hello!

You can feed a medium-large fish upto a maximum of twice a day. Usually 1gm of dried worms/fish is sufficient.

Vinay
