the material constituents of living body are perfectly ordinary chemical atoms: carbon(such as in soot), hydogen and Oxygen(such as in water), nitrogen (as in atmosphere); and so on. Do these and other atoms compose a living cell? so, is a human body marely atoms, or atoms plus life?

Not yet.
Theoretically yes it is possible, but with todays technology it is not yet possible.
It's not the atoms but molecules.
Atoms comes together to create more complex and functional structures called molecules. So life is not only bunch of atoms from here and there. It's a complex organisation.
We just started.
Life has history of more than 3500000000 years on Earth. And we only started to understand components and organisation behind it not more than 50 years.
As we learn more about life and organisms and improve genetic science, one day we will be able to create living organism from molecules and atoms.

Life is the sum total of the biochemical reactions going in and around an entity. The so-called elusive energy which we call life is the equilibrium that is achieved between these various processes.
