It's easy to learn how to play, yes. But it takes a lot of work, and some natural talent, to master it. If you're serious about it, take lots of lessons when you're younger. Play as much as you can, especially on the school teams.

Since tennis you have to use a Racquet not like osccer where you use your feet It is harder to elarn due to the fact that Holding a racquet hitting the ball is hard. Soccer you alreayd know how to run and kick the blal from the time you were young not tennis so if you want to be like Serena williams just because you like tennis thats not enough.

WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT, ALL SPORTS ARE EASY TO LEARN WHEN YOU HAVE THE PASSION FOR THE SPORT AND ARE DETERMINED TO IMPROVE. WELL, THIS YEAR I TRIED OUT FOR THE TENNIS TEAM AND SURPRISINGLY MADE IT. I AHD NEVER ACTUALLY PLAYED TENNIS( ONLY WITH THE WALL) BUT FOR SOME REASON ALWAYS LIKED IT.. SO THEN I HAD THE PASSION FOR TENNIS AND PRACTICED DAILY AND SOON WAS ONE OF THE BEST IN ABOUT A WEEK. THE MAIN ASPECTS OF TENNIS ARE CONCENTRATION AND ACCURANCY AND SOMETIMES BE GOOD AT PHYSICS..LOL.. SO IF YOU ARE GOOD AT CONCENTRATING AND AIMING IT AT A CERTAIN SPOT, YOU WILL DO JUST FINE WITH TENNIS, BUT REMEMBER IF YOU WANT TO BECOME LIKE SERENA WILLIAMS YOU BETTER START WORKING YOUR BUTT OFF...PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE... ITS A PROVEN FACT THAT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT..IDK HOW OLD YOU ARE BUT REMEMBER THAT THE EARLIER YOU START THE MORE TIME YOU HAVE TO IMPROVE. GOOD LUCK!

I used to play tennis with my dad, but just for fun. We didn't play by the rules, we just had a rally go back and fourth. Tennis is fun, and if you like it, it'll be easy for you to learn. And maybe one day you will be like Serena Williams. Good luck!!! :)

that is a difficult question to answer. natural talent is one thing. but the coach who teaches you the fundamentals is vital. there r many different type of coaches. some are strict and goal oriented. and others are more easy going.
but learning must be fun!! no matter how good the coach is, if you are not hving fun, change coach!!
if you are taught good fundamentals and you are having fun, tennis becomes easy coz you will be excited to go for your lessons. you will then push yourself to get better and better.
why?
because tennis is fun!!!
so, go out there and have lots of fun learning tennis!!

NO! Definitely not. It is a skill sport requiring good hand-eye coordination, stamina, hard work, dedication, practice, lessons, speed and intelligence. It is not based on mear physical strength such as sport as American football. But, it's alot of lifetime FUN.

The rules are easy to learn, but it's hard to play well. So you'll have to practice a lot.
Good luck!

It sounds like it would be, but many people have a hard time. I know that you use backhand and you hit the ball over the net and between the lines. If it goes out of bounds its a point for them.... if it stays in bounds but they miss it, its a point for you.... and if it double bounces its a point for whoever was supposed to get it... I think.... o.o
Ok, maybe its not so easy ;) lol!

i don't think it is easy to learn. hard in my opinion with the various serves, and different style of grip and hits. takes a lot of frustration to learn it. Practice makes perfect
