I can name many who are good as Individual players like Sachin, Gaguly, etc and good for their own individual records. None of these players have won any major championship for the country. And none of these players been listed in the Wisden list either.
I would say "no" player to be qualified as a best player for year 2007. However looking at the future I would potentially list some of the best players going to be like Karthik, Dhoni, Raina, etc.
