I am going to rent some movies and don't know what I want to rent. I thought Apocalypto looked interesting

As a story yeah, it's pretty entertaining.
As based on historical facts. NO, it's not even close to history, I mean just look at the fact that in the end they see Spanish landing, but it was the Aztecs (Mexica) who saw them landing not the Maya.
true Maya still exists today, but it was the Aztec empire who dealt with the Spanish
I would recommend it, but don't think that all of it was true events, most wasn't

Absolutely! Anything with Clint Eastwood ia always worth seeing. Gran Torino is very good & exciting. It is all that a Clint Eastwood movie should be. It one of his best. Have a great afternoon!

It depends what you want from it. If you want to have fun wondering what the heck is going on and why, or if you are having trouble sleeping, then yes, by all means, go for it.

It might be, but I'm boycotting all Mel Gibson movies, since his ranting about Jews (when he got arrested for DUI) and how he portrayed them in "The Passion, etc."...he's a loony and his views are TOTALLY WRONG and VICIOUS!

It was ok. It has a lot of blood/gore in it. More than I expected.
