Yes I did, but is was embarrassing because it was some criminal they were looking for that had the same first and last name as me.

Not my name but my picture. My cousin and I were at a rodeo when we were about 6 years old and it started raining and we put a piece of plastic over our heads and stayed and watched. I guess one of the photographers thought it was cute and snapped our picture and put it in the newspaper with the headline: "Rainy day didn't discourage these young cowboys".

loads of times, I do a lot of fund raising activities ect... and they usually make the papers, and I was recently involved in cleaning the junk out of a local river - the name was joined by large colour photo of me in wading boots - very nice...
My son was in the newspaper recently for the first time, he was competing in a music and poetry competition. He came 4th in about 220 kids from all over the county.

Many times in the 70's in Sacramento CA. I took Safety Stan California's offficial Bicycle Safety Dog to elementry schools and gave out his bicycle safety book during the programs to each child. In 3 school years we put on 381 programs and gave out more than 135,000 books at no cost to the schools or children.

Many times. Most of the time it was because they listed high school 'honor roll' names in the local paper every semester. I was listed for graduation too and in an obituary. When I was a kid I had my photo and name in a paper because I was on some field trip. - Oh, my birth announcement too
