Guess this didn't occur to those power hungry ones in charge. Makes you wonder just how smart they are, doesn't it?

Could be because the U.S government doesn't share all it's plans with the public, nor all the reasons it does things.

It amazes me that people still try to simplify things down to single issues based on their own limited ideology.

It's like watching a bunch of park bums kibbitz (sp?) a checker game in the park, complaining that the players don't know how to jump, that the players are stupid to move their pieces the wrong way, etc.

All the while, the two players (our governments) continue to shake their heads and play chess.

We didn't because it wasn't the right time to do so. We have goals in the region that are NOT public. They've been served. It's time.

The democrat-run Congress is not chicken or hypocritical in not immediately ceasing the war. Their empty threats are empty because of good reason. They KNOW why we are there. They know why we have delayed. They may play the public, but they aren't stupid.
