No. If you get hired for a show then they ask for your SS# to help clear you through the unions and pay you. Other than that DONT give it out.

Of course! If they sign you up as a model/talent with them, it is mandatory that you complete a tax Form (i thinks its the I-9 Form) and this will ask you for your Social Security Number. As a model/talent, you are considered an independent contractor and the agency will not deduct taxes from your paycheck, thus you will have to make sure you keep track of your income and how much taxes you need to pay at the end of the tax year (that is if you do this as a full-time job).

If they ask you for it on an application, or other tax forms.

Be sure to only provide to reputable agancies. And it is okay to hold off on giving your SSN until you have to complete those necessary Tax forms.

Of course, if you want to get paid! Every employer where you work must have your SS number if you expect money from them.

Only if your agreement with them says that payment will go through them. Otherwise, no.
