The visual sky goes on for about 10 miles (Troposphere), where life forms, weather and about 75% of our atmoshere is. The next 20 miles is the Stratosphere, which contains the ozone layer and about 24% of our atmosphere. The Mesosphere (20 miles), Thermosphere (350 miles) and Exosphere (39,600 miles) make up the remainder.
