People seem to be not giving out stars with interesting questions lately and I was wondering why? One technique I use is to give a star to a question I want to read the answers, but not actually answer the question. That way I can select my starred questions to read the answers later one, and I don't have hunt for the question over again. Don't you think giving stars is a good idea in the that usage?

Stevers thanks for the star. Here is you a big star. It still won't show me who starred my question!! Maybe I'm being punished because I always star questions. ANYWAY!! Life goes on..:)

People aren't giving the best answers to best answers lately either.

Ah well, the world must go on. I'll just answer the question as good as possible and the agreements I get will add up

I don't know but I do enjoy starring them myself for the same reason you gave...to refer back to them later and read the answers that all have given.
