I would tell everyone to stop being so rude to each other, we all have the most IMPORTANT thing in common: a love for the best sport in the world. Be passionate, but not rude and disrespectful :)

NO! if u dont like it at least have the decency to keep that to yourself! we could all start saying things about whatever country it is that u r from- think about what u r saying before u say it!!
.... and for the sake of your own personal mental health- can u please just get over the fact that Italy won the World Cup we r the champions, my friend!!

Your way off MJ, the country is beautiful. I have been to the major areas as well as the small towns. It's very scenic, I love both the mountains and the beach. Actually, I was on a beach on the adriatic and could see Croatia in the distance, that was kind of an eye sore.

I'd like to tell lak8erman that he needs to grow up! His use of foul language in his answers to questions he doesn't agree with, other answers he doesn't agree with, or when he comments on something he doesn't like which is usually anything to do with football (soccer) in the US including it's players playing outside the US is really ignorant, pathetic, childish, and abusive. It's not at all necessary. If he doesn't like the MLS or any of it's players unless they are Mexican or even the US National Team, well he's entitled to have that opinion, but there is no need for the foul language or the abusiveness. It just really makes him look like an idiot. I like to tell him to shut up with all of that. He just looks stupid
Now as far as Italy and Serie A teams and players not getting any respect here or enough, they might get it or more if there wasn't so much controversy with Italian football. The match fixing scandal isn't going to be easy to forget and has tarnished Italian football. They have a reputation of using questionable tactics to win like diving and over acting when they get fouled. It takes away from the game when they resort to tactics like that to win. I used to love and respect Italian football but I no longer do because of the controversy. I prefer to watch countries and clubs that win without resorting to cheating tactics.
I'd also like to add that I agree with rockabilly's answer completely.
@ donCicci. What really "eating" at Rockabilly when it comes to Italians IS already stated in his answer.
@ Lavaman. lol Yeah you're right about my use of the word fowl. lol Sorry but I'm just really tired. I did change fowl to foul like I ment to use. lol My use of the wrong fowl isn't going to help my answer, lol, but I think it was a funny mistake on my part. Oh well.

You know, I just want to reply to what Juva said regarding respect. Last year before the USA vs Italy game, during pregame interviews many Italian players were quoted saying they only know of three or four players on the US side. They did not need to know, they did not need to study the opponent on video..... Apparently the Americans were sooooo lousy they did not merit any effort. This kind of ARROGANCE on the part of the Italian coach and his players has not earned my respect. Totti spat at Christian Poulsen, I should respect this guy ? He was sent off at the 2002 world cup for diving, I should respect this guy ? DeRossi elbowed McBride in the face, I should respect this guy ? Toni dived costing Australia the game, I should respect this guy ?Materrazi incites a reaction and I should respect this guy ? Don't tell me it's because Zidane is a hot head either, because Matterazi has incited this kind of reaction from players before, Delvecchio for example. Insulting players is not part of the game, it is poor sportsmanship. It is a shame that the Italian Football federation allows these players to be the face of Italian football internationally and ruin the good name of the majority of players on the team who are pure class. To conclude, you don't earn respect by winning. You earn respect by acting respectfully. Thank you for your time.
WOW I got more thumbs down than MJ ! I must have hit a nerve.
