I think she can get into trouble as your son is still classed as a minor. You need to speak to this girls parents as soon as possible to talk about support for the children (as that's what they are) and the baby. Please talk to your son about underage sex!!

1st off he wont get into trouble, for some reason the law (in the UK, not sure where u live) states that only the male will get into trouble if he is over 16 and she is under 16, your son being under 16 and this girl being over 16 for some reason doesn't matter in the eyes of the law!
however, your son will have to pay maintenance for the baby once he is earning- up until the baby/child is 18 or still in full time education.
i would also make sure the baby is definitely your son's, if they aren't together there is a chance she has slept with other guys, demand a d&a test if you or your son have any doubts he is the father.
lastly there is nothing much else you can do except guide your son through this, it would be nice if he helped out with his child and kept a good relationship with the mother, it's only fair on the baby, he has to face up to what he has done, just because he is the guy and she is the girl doesn't mean he should get away with any of the responsibilities!

If she was 16 and he was 14, she might get in trouble because she is significantly older than he is.
If she is keeping the baby, you have to start preparing your son to be a good father. He needs to grow up fast. Have him take a class in child care. Once the baby is born, he should visit the child at least once a week. As the child gets older, and can leave the mother, he should care for the child some of the time.
As soon as he reaches 18, he should start working and paying child support. He will need to be ready to move to any town where the mother moves to, to be near his child. By this time he should have the child at least 2 days a week.

Your son can not get into any trouble. He is 14 and she is 16, they are both minors so there was no law broken when they slept together, I have cops in my family so I know this stuff very well.
When it comes to him paying child support I do not know if they can make him do that or not I mean most states have a law against anyone under 16 getting a job and those that do allow under 16 to get a job it is very hard to find work because no company wants to hire a child that young.
I would strongly urge you to get a paternity test once this baby is born.

Your son wont be in trouble as he is the one who is underage. All you can do here is support your son and stick by his decision i.e if he wants to have any contact with the child or not. It may seem like the end of the world to you but worse things could happen your son. Sorry I can't be more helpful. X

Can he get into trouble? He already is in trouble. But first off... I would talk with this girl and make sure that there is no other guys in her life that could have gotten her pregnant.
Second... they are both minors so... I don't think you have to worry about anyting leagally happening.
If the girl puts your son on the birthcertificate, she can ask him for child support. Being that he is 14 and not a legal adult... guess who has to pay it.
I would do a paternity test as soon as the baby is born just to make sure that it is indeed his baby.
Then I would teach your son all about abstaining from sex till he is married.

She's 16 and he's 14 , There both minors.
If shes keeping the baby make ur son pay child support.
Cause he's only 14 he cant work yet, i would talk to the girls parents and work something out. Like once a week he sees the kid, pays for the food dipars ect...
Make him be responcable for that kid, The truth of the matter is , He is the father .

No, but she can. VERY big trouble. If this is reported to the police, she will be put on the child sex offenders register, and could be charged with statutory rape of a minor.
I would keep very quite about his age to any midwifes, or docs as they could report her too.
Your son has done nothing wrong in the eyes of the law. But he needs some education, before this happens again. Girls can be crafty, and have a natural urge to have babies. Your son could find himself in this situation again if he doesn't protect himself(and that's not even mentioning infections+deceases he could pick up IE genital wart, herpes, chlamydia, etc). Plus this child will need supporting, so as soon as he leaves school, he will be eligible to pay maintenance until child is 16(or 19 if they go on with full time education)

He can't get in trouble. She might. It depends on your states statutory rape laws. Some states have a legal age of consent as 16.
You might be financially responsible to pay child support for the baby until he turns 18. That's how my state works, although all states have different laws.

No neither of them will get in trouble, your son will be obligated to pay child support when he gets old enough to work. I would sit down with him, the young woman and her parents and together make up a plan to keep your son in his childs life, yourselves as well and help support the young woman and the baby.
