Oooh, You’ve GOT ME UNDER PRESSURE, with this one Earnest...................
While a SHARP DRESSED MAN with a PEARL NECKLACE may be able to get into some BAD GIRL’s SLEEPING BAG, on this PLANET OF WOMEN, I find that most will go for a ROUGH BOY wearing levi’s , a T shirt and CHEAP SUNGLASSES. We don't focus much on material weath....it's all about the LEGS and TUSH………………..alright, I know I’M BAD………..(I’M NATIONWIDE)

ZZ Top WAS right, unfortunately. It's not so much that we're too focused on material wealth. It's just that a well-dressed man looks like he at least values HIS inner self enough to look nice on the outside. Eeeeeeeverbody knows about 1st impressions and we allll know that you can't judge a book by it's cover. BUT a sharp-dressed man gives the appearance of strength, health, vitality, self-worth and being about something. Why do you think women love a man in uniform? =)

Is that it? I always thought the ladies were crazy about me because of my personality. And here, it was my sharp dressing all along. :-)

But seriously, I think many women are attracted to power. They see it in different ways, some may like the guy with expensive looking clothes. Some like the guy with big muscles. Some like the guy with tattoos and an attitude. Some like guys with confidence. All of these are perceived, correctly or incorrectly by most women as power.

I have been married for nearly 26 years now. There are days when I love my husband to look nice and clean and sharp dressed and other when I like the way he looks after he has mowed the yard or done the yard work.

He still looks good to me when we are in church and when we are deep sea fishing.

It isn't about the wealth, it's about the feelings inside.

But then again, that's just me.

I think it's more of how a man presents himself, not what he's wearing. If a man is confident, but not cocky, clean but not prissy, macho but not overbearing, he gets our attention, no matter
what he's wearing.
Public example: Sean Connery in a tux gets just as much attention as Kenny Chesney in faded jeans and a T-shirt with no sleeves.
Personal example: I was sitting in the gazebo with several other females of different ages and races, at school the other day, when a guy walked towards us. He was short, stocky, wearing faded jeans with a hole in the knee and a white T-shirt, workboots and a baseball cap. As he got closer everyone of one us stopped talking. And every day since, at least person, says..."I wonder where that guy is", and we know who she's talking about.

I don't know. I think it's the perception and the taste of the woman. Some women like the rolled up sleeve tanned forearms of a dirty construction worker. I have been an white collar most of my life, didn't see that big a draw one way or the other. It's like asking if they like redheads better, or blondes, or blue eyes. It's a matter of taste.

They are pretty to look at.
I have not made my self to look sharp for a long time. and i admire people who feel comfortable dressing down. people are too focused on material wealth. for ex: those very expensive purses seem like a waste....and not original at all.
Oh, and that song is a lot of fun----feel good music--very good.

Ever since I can remember liking boys and having a preference...I have gone for the well-dressed preppy sort of look. I love the way my husband looks dressed up every morning for work. He wears very expensive shoes and suits and I LOVE the look. He doesn't wear jewelry except for his wedding ring and his watches. He has a Rolex, Movado, and a Cartier that he wears for work and a Seiko and Fossil he wears on weekends.

If you see casual pics of my husband on my 360 he is always dressed nicely. My boys dress like that too. If my husband wears just a T-shirt (rare except for working out) it is a Polo one or similar. I hate sloppy dirty men with filthy finger nails. Ick.

EDIT - he is NOT a metro-sexual sissy guy. He is very macho and loves to play sports and build things too. He just dresses nicely for the most part...we all do in our house.
