I would have to say zombies would be worse. Robots could be taken down with an EMP.

Zombies would be worse for a few reasons:

Robots could be taken down with EMPs. The only thing that could wipe out zombies would be massive fire/explosions...which unfortunately would mean all the innocent people caught in the blast radius as well.

People as a whole could grasp the ideas of robots with artificial intelligence...zombies on the other hand would result in a mass hysteria of the human population where the zombie uprising was happening, and disbelief to others who hear that 'zombies' are real.

28 days later simply by fact its no longer the conventional zombie action picture it somewhat has a large tale. Its filmed in an incredibly lifelike way. beginning off 20 minutes is wonderful. guy wakes up from a coma n actually is the only man or woman strolling in the time of the streets of britain. Very gritty action picture that the contaminated people are an afterthought. They ultimately get to the army base and understand they are attempting to start a sparkling civilization by skill of raping woman. Its deep for a horror action picture.

Zombies easily. Nothing stops them except a headshot. Robots would run out of power eventually and if its like a dalek or ED-209, you can just run up some stairs to get away.

Both would be bad. Robots would kill us. Zombies would eat our brains. Robots would have to be a better way to die. Zombies are worse. I never did figure out how hey got to your brains using just their hands

the trouble I'm having with this one is that it would depend on the type of Robot or Zombie you planned on taking on...
the biochemical type of zombie as in Dawn of the dead is highly contagios and therefore to be respected
so too the robot of Asimov design with it's positronic brain, cold logic, and obvius loopholes in the 'three laws'
but typical vodun zombiesare esily stoped by salt and incantation or killing their master.
and we're already surrounded by robots of all sorts with no fear of retaliation(how dangerous is that little vacuum under the couch)

A robot attack would be worse by far, zombie's are mindless creatures, robots are intelligent, it's harder to fight an intelligent being than a mindless one.

robot wil be worst. you can see how bad it is in I robot. they are so strong and have intelligence. as for zombie's they are scary but there are so many ways to handle them as they are quite dumb and stupid.
