it is of course, but the process is not like the snow as we can see normally...
at the land, we can see snow falls from the sky with a smooth and waterry particles...
but at the sea, it cames/falling from the huge ice bergs but not smoother than at the land... and its falling to the very pressured water level in the sea during cold time, as in Arctic Region and Antartica Region...

Yes it snows at sea just like on land. If you live in a snowy place and near the coast you'll see that it doesn't just stop at the cliffs/beach. (although it won't settle on the water)

If you want absolute proof, you need only look at the northern polar ice cap. There is no land under that snow and ice. It's the Arctic Ocean.

snowgood if you try to make a snow man though, , some fishing boats have been sunk because the snow fell froze and then capsised for being to top heavy with snow, so it is dangerous to shipping .

t certainly does just ask those brave guys who go out in the fishing trawlers. It gets pretty grim out their I had a b/f years ago who was a trawler man and he hated the winter months.
