Max Headroom (1987–1988) was a short-lived but ground-breaking American science fiction television series which aired on ABC. The series was developed from a British television character.

UK's Channel 4 Max Talking Headroom Show, then on the 1987 self titled ABC television series as a video TV announcer, then as a Coca-Cola spokesperson and other commercials all played by Matt Frewer

Max Headroom was a spokesman for Coke and then he got his own horrible show. Not many times has a character from a commercial gotten it's own show but this next fall we will have a show about the cavemen from the Geico commercials. Kill your television.

He had his own show back in the day. I can't remember where he popped up first though. Wasn't it in a music video or something?
