Yes. If a malware application or script can gain access to a privileged level (Administrator or Superuser permissions), it can destroy, modify or otherwise harm any user account. It's all a matter of programming. If it can be done by a human being, it can be done by malware. However, most malware is not complex enough to do everything, because there is not enough time and code space available to make it that "smart." That doesn't mean that it isn't dangerous.
The best thing to do is keep malware off of your PC.

yes ofcourse if your computer is infected it will affect user accounts, as a result they are a part of the computer.
