I think it makes our lives more convenient, but we pay a price for it.

For example, microwavable food it quicker, but a lot of it is very high in fats.

We can use cell phone to stay in continual contact, but we have people getting into car accidents while driving.

Also, even though we are talking on cell phones, we become more anti social. Really, we do. I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone at a cash register talking on their phones and completely ignoring the cashier. That is just rude and inconsiderate.

Cell phones are the worse! I can't stand when people tell me that their life are is their cell phone or their life is in their cell phone. What kind of life do you have then and could you not end my life by talking on your cell phone while driving or text messaging? What the hell is so important to talk about that you can't pay attention to the road? Better yet, what about the people who don't answer their cell phones when you call, but call you right back at their leisure?

Dishwashers don't make any sense to me. You still have to do alot of work beforehand and afterwards. You might as well hand wash them.

Microwaves are the best, but I wouldn't make every dish in a microwave.

Cell phones don't make you more busy, people just like to appear like they are busy with them, but they are not. Dishwashers are more trouble than they are worth, but microwaves rock! (Just don't cook all your meals in them)

I definitely find that dishwashers make me more busy...so much easier to wash in the sink. Cell phones make life more convienient, but then you expect someone to be there whenever you call. My microwave definitely saves me time - so no, less busy on that one.

That's the irony. Two decades ago we were told that having computers would save on the volume of paper we would use. The opposite happened : since then our use of paper has gone completely off the dial.

ive wondered that from time to time i don't really thinks so but it seems that way because now we can do more while we are doing something else, but i think it is much easier to wash a load of clothes now than in my great grandmothers day could you imagine using a ringer washing machine or a wash board now that would suck

Of course! Buying them because they are "high-tech" and "more convient" is an oxy-moron. Everyone I know (including me) buy them because it saves them the dirty work (washing dishes by hand, cooking things on the oven, writing a letter by hand, etc.)...

I think it just gives us access to get things done more quickly then before all these things were invented. So, now we can get more done and have more time to play on Y.A.
