What good could possibly come of this? How much damage could it do? Are you willing to pay the supreme price if this affair came to light? Is it worth sacrificing EVERYTHING you know and love for this fling?

Nobody is evergoing to know the true circumstances of this situation, or the emotional scars carried by one or both parties. If this can help my friend to feel better about herself and she knows what she is geting into. I would say...Go for it...Have a great time. I'll be here when you get home

Define fling, is it emotional or physical? If it is emotional your friend may just be in a place where he/she needs that connection outside of the madness he/she lives in!
