Human clones already exist, they are called identical twins.
Always a great argument winner when you encounter the "its against nature" freaks.

There is no possible advantage to cloning a full human.
The human clone would never be like the donor as you cannot reproduce every experience that an individual had in their life time that shaped them into the individual they are today.
The clone would also be a living individual with all the rights to life as a non clone.

I agree with the change in leglislation to allow cloning of stem cells, it would be much better than organ donation as rejection would be eliminated. The mhc markers would be identical to the receipient.

different than medical interest there does not seem a actual reason of human cloning. Clones must be made for "alternative areas" in case of the unique guy or woman's own physique having subject concerns, however the ethical and ethical implications of that are huge, and anybody (fairly technology fiction writers) is familiar with that it could by no ability artwork. Cloning animals does not make plenty experience the two. Why clone a million greenback cow once you could breed one for loose??

The word clone means to make an identical copy. When you use human clone are you referring to a full clone of a human, in which case very few people would be in approval and it is illegal throughout the world.

Embryonic cloning, where the stem cells are removed from the blastocyst to either aid in medical research or create healthy organs is perfectly legal and has my full support.

I don't think a full human should be cloned because of the ethical concerns. However, I am in full favour of body parts being cloned for replacements and transplants. A person would do much better during a heart transplant if they could get an exact copy of their own heart.

I am in favor of human cloning. The loss of Karen Carpenter was tragic for the entire world. Wouldn't it have been good to have the ability to produce a copy?
