OK, so imagine you could click your fingers, and one person - any one in the world would drop dead at that second.
You would also into the bargain be completly free from any kind of punishment from the law, in the afterlife, any kind of revenge attack or anything like that - and you would never feel any guilt.

Who would you kill and why?

Hmm - people realy seem to me missing the whole "guilt free" part

It's just a theoryetical question! Who do you think the world would be a better place without?

I would choose the person who was about to die a prolonged, agonising death, with no hope of remission.

My first thought is the vp, but Kim Jong Il is probably doing more active evil in the world right now. I think it would be immoral not to exercise that power if you had it, since you would be making the world a better place. I'd even take the guilt.

The same people who piously say it would be "wrong" to kill someone are the same folks who'll turn right around and support war, so it is clear that their motivation saying that is simply avoidance of personal responsibility. Some evil people need to be stopped for the good of the rest of humanity and if I could stop them, I would.

~~~ I like the way you think. I've been clicking my deadly fingers at people for years.......unfortunately/fortunately they don't die. I'd kill my rotton Brother-In-Law in a flat second if this funny little trick would REALLY WORK! I'll just keep clicking away until it finally does. I hate him because he lived and my husband didn't.....and he killed a cat named Blue. ~~~
I don't think I could do it. I killed a poisoned pigeon once and hated myself for weeks after. I'm fortunate because this may be the worst thing I have ever done because I could not kill it cleanly and mercifully
It's not up to us to choose who lives or dies but boy if I had a choice I would be awfully tempted to say it would be both my X's, they were physically, mentally, emotionally verbally, and financially abusive. And both tried to kill me..enough said
I would like to kill myself for a minute or two and see if I still exist..or if I am a figment of my endless imagination.
The good girl in me says thats awful and you should never wish anyone dead but the spiteful cow in me says the stupid trout secretary who was trying it on with my husband at work. She nearly ruined a good marriage because she was selfish and caught my hubby when he was vulnerable and needed attention!
When i was young we had rabbits in a hutch. they mated and produced about 6 babies, one night, a lad in my neighbourhood unlocked the cage and put his ferrit in, which killed them all and the mother. He would definitely get it under the circumstances
