On your Birthday do you buy cakes for your colleagues?

I work in an office in London and whenever it's someones Birthday they have to buy a selection of cakes/sweets for everyone else.

They have a cake for every occasion here. A client was closing! Memorial Day cake! Birthday cake! Clients bringing in cookies and brownies!
I swear I have gained weight since I started here.
