Oh, but they do. As do many other companies. Some companies also use it as a tool to prescreen potential employees. Many therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists also use it as a tool to help understand the workings of their client's mind. One of my teachers, God rest her recently departed soul, worked for years with a big city police department locating missing people, children in particular.

The insurance companies won't tell you that they are using horoscopes, because...

...they don't want to look stupid and to lose clients who don't believe in horoscopes.

On the other hand, many head hunters in companies might look at the zodiac sign of people they hire (they ask for date of birth etc)...

...so that THEY don't end up with a bunch of loud mouths, negative about everything, just wanting to have sex with the boss and then get a prime.

There is no truth in that the stars can affect our lives. There is some evidence for instance that Leo/ Virgo children do less well at school in the UK however that is because children start school in September so these children are the youngest in class. A Star sign is as a result of your date of birth not the cause of anything.

As is usual there is so much information out there that anyone digging can find correlations - that is just co-incidence.
