Is this an example of how well our Homeland Security works? Doesn't it show terrorists how easy it is to bring a biological agent into this country?

From CNN
incident also points out weaknesses in the system: The man was able to re-enter the United States, even though he said he had been warned by federal officials that his passport was being flagged and he was being placed on a no-fly list.
CDC officials said they contacted the Department of Homeland Security to put the man on a no-fly list, but it doesn’t appear he was added by the time he flew from Prague to Montreal and drove across the border from Canada.
Mr. Wall ought to check HIS facts!

The borders are a joke and even if he had been on a " No Fly List" he drove across the border. It shows yet again that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
There is more to this story. He claims he was only told verbally not to travel but then he also claimed he was told again while in Rome to go into isolation there and get treated and that they felt he would not get adequate treatment in Rome so this is why he flew into Montreal and drove across the border. He knew he was not to fly, since he flew out of Atlanta, why didn't he fly back into Atl. He knew he would have been busted big time.
This selfish prig has now made it EVERYBODY'S responsibility because out of the possible 107 people on the plane he could have infected, how many OTHER people were THEY around over the past 2 weeks and could have possibly infected, not to mention the people he exposed while walking around on his honeymoon in Rome.
People, if infected with this strain have a 50:50 chance of dying. If any of these people get it and die, he should be charged with manslaughter.
Edit: Saw the note about the passport. Guess what? To cross the border by car, you don't need to present a passport, only a driver's license, but he did present the pasport and it came up that he should have been stopped but the border patrol agent still let him in. We're screwed especially if our agents are ignoring information provided to them.

As a respiratory therapist I am equally appauled. He is a lawyer so isn't some uneducated person who could plead ignorance. Personally I hope they find a way to throw the book at him for personal endangerment or something.

He didn't fly into the US.
He flew into Canada than drove across the boarder.
This is more a case of an idiot. You are never going to make anything idiot proof.

What it proves is that our borders are a joke! This nut came through by car via Canada.
It's just as easy to come in illegally through the southern border. Hence the 12 million illegals now in our country.
Secure the borders now!

He was told ONLY verbally that he cannot fly. It was not documented. He flew anyway. I'd say this was and is HIS responsibility.
