You are officially graduating in 2007, but if your school holds only one graduation per year, you may not be included in any of the graduation activities (including eligibility for awards) until May of 2008, since there was not guarantee in May of 2007 that you would actually finish in August. Thus, you will probably be officially included in the class of 2008.

07...it is the year you are graduating.
