I'm at home so it's red and I have exactly the same carpet in the bed room. They were down when I moved in and I kept them. I like them and couldn't afford new carpets .... still can't - which is why the passage only has a runner and front door mat on top of the floorboards.

An ugly light/dark gray with some kind of funky pattern...depressing and dark. And the boss wonders why we all act like we need a shot of Tequila..

well its wooden floorboards, so they are a browny/tan colour. But not manky though!
